Job Description:
ORU is looking for candidates with people skills and medical knowledge to add value to the services they provide employees.Candidates will join an integrated team of NP, Nurse, and Dietician staff, who deliver customer-focused care to over 1,500 employees.The Employee Wellness Center (EWC) provides a combination of wellness evaluations, regulatory examinations, sick determinations, and safety-sensitive assessments.Responsibilities includeDynamic team player able to manage several projects efficiently and effectively.Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written.Experience with Electronic Medical records (Cority)Able to use computer programs including Outlook, Word, ExcelAssistance with responding to calls related to Sick absences (VRU)Experience with safeguarding health and sensitive data information.Ability to work with Nurse Case Managers and be cross trained to assist scheduling appointments and covering employee wellness dl/ email box.Willingness to take on additional tasks as requested.Ability to resolve conflict and complex employee concerns.For both new and experienced medical technicians on-the-job training is available.No Certifications required HS DiplomaNo Physical or Immunization Records needed.Mostly Administrative / Date Entry WorkContractor will not be taking vitals or drawing blood. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
